hella FAKE, no one would watch this w/o the fake spin

flying a $15k using a spektrum dx8…….

Keith Stoltz says:

I think the first thing I would do is throw up!!! lol

iFlySkyHigh says:

What Spectrum receiver are you using?

Chris, what luck. I'd be freaking out…

#zeugentv says:

horror story :(

Shaun Capps says:

That's terrifying

That's why I got rid of my dx8.

CineSkies says:

so cool, glad for such a great ending!!

A $15k flying model is only as good as its cheapest component.

Dennis Brok says:

Dx8 to control a 15000 dollar quad Dont really get that

blueknight says:

If you can't get a good gps signal, don't fly.

FUCK i now what you feel in that day, but in the end all went ok for me too .

Sly Fox says:

The problem. Using Specktrum radio gear use a better system like the Frsky tranias

cdwilliams1 says:

Why on earth would you use a Spektrum TX on something so expensive. Might as well have ordered something off Hobbyking. There's a reason Hollywood only trusts Futaba.

will amazon.com be able to sent stuff to amazon with it's amazon drones?

Andreas Diaz says:

Geez man it wasnt my aircraft and im all tense watching the video! What a relief that the aircraft survive!! good look dudes

A question, what caused the transmitter throttle stick to broke?

Romano says:

If u can't get GPS lock dont fly….its that simple. If you had GPS you could've done a RTH but seriously flying in such a dense place is stupid & you sir are a STUPID pilot

ED KAYS says:

Its not a bleeding helicopter . its a X Octocopter.

Jeff Manes says:

Man, this made me so tense. Glad you were able to rescue it though, and it didn't even seem to have any broken parts. Amazing.

jeryart says:

first I want to say this guy's are awesome. …. but can someone please tell what makes this drone 15k… I'm new to aerial filming and I just want to do it as a hobby but I DO NOT see any shot on this video that I can't do with my $999.99 yuneec q500 4k???

TBizzel4SHO says:

That's crazy! I just got my Hubsan mini-drone yesterday and I was getting bummed thinking about losing $85 but $15K…I would still be crying over that! Big UPS to you. One day I'll get into CCU.

Spektrum is your problem! Go Futaba guys… come on!

What Hex were you guys using?

Ooh, poor little boy lost his toy, boo, hoo, hoo…

basimpsn says:

First problem is..your are using spectrum gears lol….why do you think dji use futaba..which is the fasst system…

Josh Waite says:

sweet u got it back

Guitarh4cker says:

fake totally staged

laurens kast says:

why do you use dx8 with 15k drone? IDIOT

PCFanatic says:

I felt upset losing my 20$ Udi quadcopter. But 15k is just….

Matt Kelley says:

That's spectrum for ya

Linda Muvic says:

So the copter was undamaged enough that you were able to fly it? Anyways incredible fortune.

Jon Sprague says:

I suggest switching to a different radio frequency for your transmitter and receiver 2.4 ghz is good for line of sight. Dragon link has a module for Spektrum using the trainer port. The lower the frequency usually the better. Been reading about people using 72mhz as well Dragon link is 1.3 ghz. I still need to get my ham license and am not sure about the laws but I know using a 2.4 ghz system in heavy tree canopy you are going to have problems.

you guys ever see the film : Green Inferno : by Eli Roth?

browniesbear says:

1:29 the start of The Green Inferno
LOL

Nice to point out the product that failed.

Lions Fan says:

Why keep it airborne when you realized you had no directional control? Why not cut your losses and at least lower the throttle while you have a visual on the aircraft? Also why in gods name did this drone cost 15k?? What a joke price.

Kev H says:

Phantom 4. Get it.

Isaak says:

Man, that's an extremely lucky outcome! Assuming mode 2 as you mentioned lowering the throttle and the X8 starting dropping, why on earth didn't you raise throttle to gain height over the canopy and activate failsafe to bring it back above the take-off zone where you could have a better chance of bringing it back? Eh, irrelevant now I guess as it was years ago, but good to see you guys got your copter back! :)

Sid Knee says:

I don't understand why spending $15,000 for a drone when a $2000 drone with 4k camera on a gimble could take the same film?. No doubt the more expensive the better but would be good to compare the quality.
I nearly lost one of my drones after taking off without a GPS fix. It was drifting away until a spec on the horizon. Like people say. Keep your cool and don't panic when a flyaway happens…

Gxzx Gxrl says:

How do you control it from the ground?..To get these detailed aerial views is there a screen that you look at?

Justin Anger says:

even 500 is too fucking much for a stick with motors

THAT is why you use pixhawk for these copters!
