All features and functions on Photographers place are provided as-is, as a free community service.
Much of the content here is contributed by Members for the enjoyment of the community. As such we can take no responsibility as to the accuracy or value or content of this material. We will however so our best to remove offensive content as we find it, and will we reserve the right to do so without consultation or notice.
This includes (but is not limited to) pornography, racially offensive material, illegal material, warez, any images where there is a dispute over ownership, and any material that WE CONSIDER TO BE INAPPROPRIATE for this website.
We will do our best to monitor the member-contributed content, but the onus is on the user to proceed with caution and investage all claims, promises and suggestions before proceeding on any matter.
This is a M-rated site, and we expect our member photographers to respect that when submitting mateiral, and when viewing content. We are happy for you to post artistic nudes, glamour and erotica to the Photo Gallery, but we draw the line at overly explicit or offensive material.
This is a difficult area to police, so we ask for contributor and viewer discretion. ie. we don't want to have to police it, so please don't load anything you wouldn't want to show your grandmother and/or your children.
Likewise, if you are offended by the sight of bare flesh or suggestive photos, you should probably leave now.
Similarly, if you are easily upset or offended in discussion forums, don't participate. We expect everyone to TRY to be friendly and professional in all discussions at al ltimes, but we realise it will get heated at times. (It would be boring if it didn't!)
Passion and enthusiasm ares good, Name-calling and abuse are not.
When you are replying to a heated discussion, take a moment to re-read your post before pressing the submit button, and make sure it adds value to the discussion and isn't likely to be taken 'the wrong way'.
So treat your colleagues with respect and courtesy, and if a post offends, re-read it and see if perrhaps there was another meaning that you missed the first time around. Then consider this ...
It is foolish to take offense where none was intended ...
And pointless to take offense when it was intended!
